Well, the invites are out!
This was a big job, as you all can probably imagine!
Hopefully its all clear and everybody knows what they are doing
If not, you’d better call me!
We have tried to totally maximize all relationships but dividing the weekend up a bit.
As mentioned in an earlier post, the reception venue only fits 100 due to fire risk requirements, so we have invited a bunch of people to the wedding and then to the post wedding picnic/barbeque/anything-you-want-it-to be at the Fairways Golf Course on Sunday the 18th. Its a great chance for everybody to get away for the weekend (if it suits) and enjoy part of our wedding celebrations with us!
We have had a great response from the invites
And thank you to everyone who has RSVP’d if you haven’t… can you? Thanks !
Now that we know that people are actually coming its a great feeling! We are VERY excited and hope to be putting together something really special for the weekend.
Here are some things you may need to know:
Accomodation will be filling up very quickly and we urge anyone who hasn’t booked something to look into it
If you are having any dramas with transport we may know some half full cars going up so be in touch with me or Gebz and we’ll see if we can organise somethin’ or put you in touch with someone
We have registered for gifts and Freedom Furniture in Moorehouse Ave, and also at the General Store in his Lordships Lane in CHC city (off Lichfield St). We have lists, but we are really open to your own decisions on what you want to get us! These are merely suggestions.
We also welcome gift ideas for our Honeymoon. We are going up to Hawkes Bay for 10 days after Kaikoura and we will be on a VERY limited budget. So if you think of anything that may help us along there we would really appreciate that
After the reception there will be a shuttle back into Kaikoura Town Centre. It will be $5 per person, so make sure you bring some cash for that
I think that’s all… but there is probably more! Keep you posted !
